Gefingeerde pornografie – Kunstmatige intelligentie kan iedereen tot pornoacteur maken
This article discusses the difficulties faced when criminalising edited portrayals (images made to look like the head and body belong to the same person, when in reality they do not). Where do you draw the line? Is a picture of a face reason to punish someone else, or lies the reason in the fact that they are made to look as though they assume a certain position? If edited portrayals are recognised as a form of non-consensual porn by law, attention needs to be paid to the wording of a law, so that drawings and paintings may fall outside its scope. The question ‘who needs to be protected?’ plays an essential role.
